The third round of Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants has opened to primary schools and Early Learning Centres. Up to 1000 grants of up to $1000 are available for the establishment of veggie or bush tucker gardens, composting, worm farms or other environmental projects in schools or the community.

This year, primary schools and ELCs can also apply for an additional $500 Bee Bonus to support the conservation of Australia's bee population with projects such as bee attracting gardens or bee hotels.

Woolworths Junior Landcare Grant projects focus on sustainable food production, improving waste management practices or enhancing native habitats, such as vegetable gardens, recycling initiatives and native habitat enhancement and indigenous perspectives.

Applications for Woolworths Junior Landcare Grants are now open and close on March 19, 2021. To find out more about the program and how to apply, visit landcareaustralia.org.au/woolworthsgrants
